Bloom Admin Portal (Splash page) Configuration

Next is to setup the device in Bloom WiFi.

 
 
  • Enter Mac Address (First AP or if there's only One AP) to search for the MAC address (under "filters" on the Devices list page)
 
 If the device is not found click the add new button
    • Enter the Name field as the location name: Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain)
    • Enter the MAC address (Mac Address (First AP or if there's only One AP)) field as the MAC address located on the Access Point, it has to be in lower case.
    • Select the "Create and return to list" button.
    • If more than one device is going to be associated to this location, select the add new button again and repeat the steps above.
  • If the device is found and it has a previous location associated we have to remote the location and rename the device. 
    • Click the Edit button under the Action column for the device.
    • Change the Name field to the new location name: Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain)
    • Select the "Update and close" button.
    • On the list page find the device (use the filter again if needs be) and click on the location name in the Location column this will open the show page for the location.
    • On the location show page click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner.
    • In the Devices field uncheck the device that now has the new location name.
    • Select the "Update and close" button.
  • Next we need to add a social media login. Navigate through the menu to Content > Social Media Login which brings you to the list page for Social Media Login.
 
 
  • Confirm first that no Social Media Login has already been created. You can search for the location in the location list by searching for Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain) and clicking the Filter button.
  • If the location is not found, it has not been created yet so go ahead and click "Add new" button located at the top right above the list table.
  • Make sure Native Login, LinkedIn Login and Facebook Login are selected.
  • Make sure Google Login is NOT selected.
  • Make sure to select Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain).
  • Select Create and return to list.
  • Next we need to associate the device(s) to the location. Navigate through the menu to Campaigns > Locations which brings you to the list page for Locations.
 
 
  • First we need to check and make sure the location has not already been created. You search for the location in the location list or you can search for Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain) on the left under Filters > Title. Also try a subset of the location's title as well. For instance if the location is ABC Cherrydale I might try typing in "cherry" to see if someone changed the location name slightly to Atlanta Bread Cherrydale. If you find the location click on the edit button for the location.
    • Make sure Show Advertising is not selected
    • Make sure to enable the redirect and that the correct Url of the business's website is entered. If the URL is not known or cannot be found contact the customer by calling Contact Phone Number. Do not proceed without an approved URL.
    • Select Has Login.
    • Select Email Only Login.
    • Enter the Private SSID created within Meraki for this network.
    • Select the device(s) that we added in the steps above. Make sure to select all devices that apply and deselect any that are no longer valid.
    • To save click the Create and return to list button.
  • If the location is not found, it has not been created yet so go ahead and click "Add new" button located at the top right above the list table.
  • On the location create page
    • Make sure Show Advertising is not selected
    • Make sure to enable the redirect and that the correct Url of the business's website is entered. If the URL is not known or cannot be found contact the customer by calling Contact Phone Number. Do not proceed without an approved URL.
    • Select Has Login.
    • Select Email Only Login.
    • Enter the Private SSID created within Meraki for this network.
    • Select the device(s) that we added in the steps above. Make sure to select all devices that apply and deselect any that are no longer valid.
    • To save click the Create and return to list button.
 
 
  • Once you've edited or created the location now it's time to find it's ID. Find the location in the location list. You can also search for Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain) on the left under Filters > Title
  • Click on the location to go to it's page and look for the number at the top of the screen in the URL address bar to find the location's ID. In the image below the ID is 65
 
 
What is the location's ID #? This should only be numerical. In photo above it would be: 65

Finally, we need to create a basic Premium Page for guests to login through.

  • Go to Campaigns > Portal Pages
  • Filter by Location (search for Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain) and click Filter).
  • If a Premium Page doesn't already exist, select Add new > Premium Page.
 
 
 
  • Type in Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain) under the Name section.
  • Make sure Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain) is selected under Location.
  • Primary Color Secondary Color must both be set to #ffffff which is the hex color for white.
  • Click Create.
 
 

Additional revisions can be made after creating.

  • Make sure the below selections are made before updating the page for a final time.
    • If the location is associated with a Channel Partnership (see Properties in Hubspot), deselect 'Show Bloom Logo'. Otherwise, keep it selected.
  • Select Update.

Select Campaigns > Portal Pages and select Publish for the Premium Page you just created for Location (Name of Location as seen in Automation, see name of location in signed agreement if uncertain)
